For this redesign of Sailing the Seas of Cheese, I wanted the visuals to reflect how Primus’s music sounds and feels surreal, unpredictable, and slightly unhinged in the best way. I leaned into psychedelic colors and distorted imagery, drawing inspiration from elements like magic mushrooms to visually represent the warped bass lines, off-kilter rhythms, and strange humor that define the album. The vibrant, hallucinatory palette and dreamlike visuals help translate the sensory experience of listening to Primus into a visual form, making the album feel as bizarre, playful, and immersive as the music itself.
