Initial Planning & Wireframing
The initial planning for redesigning the SoGo CashCard site began with brainstorming the pros and cons of the original site. Working with a team of interns, we examined the weaknesses, stakeholder requirements, and existing content in order to create a sitemap and redesign a website that was both modern and innovative. The images to the right are a couple of wireframe examples showcasing the layout and functionality of the new design.
We evaluated several key industry competitors to gain insights into current trends, best practices, and the unique aspects of SoGo that set it apart. Using this information, along with understanding stakeholders' goals and priorities, we utilized FigJam to create a site map that outlined the navigation, hierarchy, and flow of the site. This was then integrated with our wireframes to guide the redesign process.
