Stickers and Poster
Nothing screams early 2000s like Lisa Frank stickers covering your composition notebook. Stickers were huge during this time, as were teen magazines. My favorite part was always the free posters that I would attempt to rip out without splitting them in half. These two things felt like a no-brainer for a book themed for the early 2000s.
An idea always starts with a sketch. For the poster, I decided to go with one of the cover ideas that I had before, which felt like a perfect way to showcase all of the characters in a more casual way. For the stickers, I decided to include some elements from the story, including items that are featured and two of my favorite characters (yes, I have favorites).
